Black Male.  Medium wedge with correct proportions, narrowing to rounded muzzle, chin recedes slightly. Flat skull curving gently at brow with straight nose profile. Large ears set well on head. Eyes of good shape and set. Elegant neck on a firm and muscular body with long legs and dainty paws. Would like tail to be just a fraction longer for balance. Short, dense coat with silky texture and well rippled all over. Lovely lad. Went on to be .

Flat skull, longer medium wedge fraction over1/3 longer than wide, good curve at brow, almost straight profile, slightly pointed muzzle, curly whiskers, chin slopes a little, level bite, elegant neck, large wide based mussel shaped ears with rounded tips, set fairly high, medium oval yellow eyes with good set, slanting towards bottom of ears, large size, slender tubular solid muscular body, long slender limbs higher at rear, oval paws, tail a fraction short in length tapering to pointed tip, good short length coat, soft and silky texture, very good density,  very good rexing all over body and tail, very good temperament and good condition.

Blue MN. Very slightly long in the wedge but narrowing to rounded muzzle showing a slight pinch. Firm chin. Flat skull curving gently at brow and showing a straight nose profile. Large ears set well on head. Eyes of good shape and set but sometimes looked a little round. Elegant neck on a firm and muscular body with long legs and dainty paws.  Long tapering tail. Short coat, dense with silky texture and well rippled all over.

Flat skull, slightly long wedge over 1/3 longer than wide, good curve at brow to almost straight profile, nose a touch long, nicely rounded muzzle, curly whiskers, firm chin, level bite, elegant neck, large, wide based mussel shaped ears with rounded tips, set rather high, medium yellow oval eyes with good set, slanting towards bottom of ears, large long tubular body, long slender limbs higher at rear, oval paws, good length tail tapering to pointed tip, short coat length with soft, silky texture, fair density,  good waves all over, very good temperament and in very good condition.

Blue smoke and white MN.  Litter brother to the winner. Very slightly long in the wedge, narrowing to rounded muzzle with firm chin. Flat skull curving gently at brow and showing a straight nose profile. Large ears set well on head but holding very slightly flared.  Eyes of good shape and set. Elegant neck on a firm and muscular body, a little overweight which detracted from balance, with long legs and dainty paws. Long tapering tail. Short coat which lacked density, silky texture and well rippled except for being rather sparse at rear end of back.

AC NEUTER MALE Mr P Cornish 1st 33 31as Blue Smoke and White Cornish Rex male neuter born 06/04/08. He looked every bit a mature male neuter and surprised me to be only just a year old, good medium wedge1/3 longer than wide, flat skull, good curve at brow almost straight profile, gently rounded muzzle, firm chin, bite level, elegant neck, large mussel shaped alert ears, good rather high set,  yellow oval eyes of medium size with good set, slanting towards ears, large long well built body, hard and muscular, slender limbs higher at rear, oval paws, good length tail, tapering to pointed tip covered with waves, short coat, soft and fine, just lacking a bit of density and rexing all over, very good temperament and condition.

Ears could be slightly larger but set well on head. Eyes of good shape and set. Elegant neck on a firm and muscular body with long legs and dainty paws. Tapering tail of good length. Short coat ,  rippled along sides but rather flat and straight along spine.  Very pretty colouring.

Nice compact girl with good ear set, medium wedge a fraction short of1/3rd longer than wide, flat skull, good curve at brow to almost straight profile with slight dip to nose, nicely rounded muzzle, curly whiskers, firm chin, level bite, elegant neck, medium wide based, mussel shaped ears with rounded tips, good set, rather high, medium yellow oval eyes with good set, slanting towards bottom of ears, medium to small size body, long slender limbs higher at rear, oval paws, good long tail tapering to rounded tip, very short length coat with soft, silky texture, lacking density, rexing all over, very good temperament and condition.

AC CORNISH REX KITTEN 6-9 MONTHS Mr. P Cornish 2nd

33 31 Black and White Cornish Rex male neuter born 09/10/08. A well grown young lad with attitude, unfortunately this spoilt his chances as he refused to show himself, wrinkling up his nose and flattening his ears, as he stood his ground and growled at me. Medium wedge almost straight profile, good curve at brow, flat skull, bite appeared level, slight pinch to muzzle, medium size mussel shaped ears held a bit too low and flared, medium size, greeny yellow, oval eyes, fair set, large for age, solid muscular body, good slender limbs, higher at rear, medium length soft silky coat with good density, excellent rexing, temperament suspect as he did not behave and was very grumpy today, in good condition.

AC KITTEN MALE Mrs G Cornish 1st. Black and white MN Cornish Rex.  He was rather upset today and difficult to judge. He appeared to have a well balanced head and fairly good nose profile.  He was holding his large ears rather flared but this could have been because he was upset. His eyes appeared to be of good shape and set. He had lovely white whiskers. He looked to have a firm muscular body with elegant legs and dainty paws. His coat appeared to be of good length and texture and was well rippled.

A very pretty colour girl but head is too rounded for a Cornish Rex, fair curve at brow, almost straight profile round muzzle, thickish neck, medium triangular ears with rounded tips, medium size, full rounded, good deep blue eyes fair set, medium solid body, good long slender limbs, rounded oval paws, good tail length tapering to a pointed tip, good medium length coat with very good density and rexed all over except plush on shoulders, soft texture, very good temperament and condition.

 Black Tabby shorthair Male Neuter, 9 years old, .owned by Mrs. H. Retief; 1st: A big, well proportioned, laid back boy with large green eyes. He looked like a big “bruiser” in his pen, but was totally the opposite to this when he came out onto the judge’s table. He immediately warmed to me & rubbed my hands with his head – MANY TIMES! He just wanted to be loved & cuddled (& he was). The very essence of a Household Pet.

 A handsome Cornish Rex. Super head, flat skull, medium wedge, good muzzle end & chin.  Lovely expressive oval eyes. Good size ears, set & held well. Nice whiskers. Big muscular body. Elegant shape slender legs & neat feet & good length to tail. Super soft texture, short & neatly rexed all over. Not altogether happy, handled by senior steward well.  Super condition!

 "Black Cornish Rex, very elegant male.  Head requires slightly more masculine strength in frontal view, I would prefer the cheeks a little more sculpted & the muzzle is a little fine, he does have an excellent profile, chin requires a fraction more dept, good bite.  Ears large & set quite tail, rounded tips.  His eyes are a little too large & rather emboldened which detracts a little from the more sultry expression which is more typically Cornish, green in colour.  Elegant neckline, excellent body, beautiful muscled, stands tall on his long elegant legs, neat oval paws, fine tail balanced length.  Short soft fine coat, pleasing rippled waves over the body & well covered, good set of whiskers & eyebrows.  He is a very good black colour with a perfectly acceptable white locket (as all colours are permissible). in excellent condition, a very good natured male, easy to handle."

Good profile showing a flat skull curving gently at brow and continuing in a straight line to tip.  Large ears, set high on head, wide at base and tapering to rounded tips.  Lovely medium size and shape to oval eyes with top line set almost straight with slight slant to the outer edge to ear.  Hard and muscular, medium length, slender body with elegant neck.  Lt76676ong legs and small oval paws.  Fine, tapering, long tail well covered in wavy fur. lovely short and dense coat, silky in texture. Well rippled fur all over body, down sides onto legs and tail. Slight eyebrows and curly whiskers. Lovely temperament."

 "A dainty & feminine lilac tortie smoke & white young lady with a beautiful coat.  Not very keen on being out of her pen though.  Head a medium wedge narrowing to a rounded muzzle.  Flat skull & practically straight profile.  level bite, chin rounds off a little.  lovely large ears set correctly & medium oval eyes.  Elegant neck & muscular body of medium build standing tall on long slender limbs with small oval feet.  Long fine tail.  Beautiful coat, short & silken with lovely ripples on the body.  Shown in a lovely condition.  "A young tortie smoke & white girl with a beautiful tortie pattern of vibrant colours (a pity there are no points for colour!).  An elegant girl.  Head a medium wedge narrowing to a rounded muzzle with a slight pinch,  Flat skull & almost straight profile.  Level bite & good chin.  Large well-set ears & medium, slightly rounded eyes.  Well-grown elegant body of medium length & build standing tall on long slender limbs with small oval paws.  Long fine tail.  Dense soft coat, rexing masked by the tortie colours but ripples on the body.  Shown in a lovely condition though a little naughty when handled."

 "Could not believe this was the little sister to the one above.  she really was a little cross patch & therefore difficult to assess fully.  Hard muscular body with good length of tail, oval feet. Nice top of head with flat plane & tall held ears, well shaped eyes, rather full in the cheeks & little fine in the muzzle which upset head balance.  a really superb close-lying close-rippled coat of very pleasing colour."

AV Breeders kitten Mr J Hansson 1st "Lovely class with a number of very good kittens having to go cardless.  Lilac Tortie Smoke Bi-Colour Cornish Rex, most attractive young miss, though of somewhat volatile nature.  Pleasing head type, good well defined sculpted cheek line, good muzzle line, the skull flat between the ears, near straight profile, quite good chin & bite.  Ears large & set well being quite tall, quite good mussel shell shape, rounded tips.  Attractive wide oval shape, the colour a yellowy green tone. Elegant neckline, lithe taut body, stands tall on her long slender legs, very small neat paws, fine tail.  Beautiful coat, short very soft & silky fine to the touch, with lovely rippled waves which were not initially obvious till out on the table, softer ripples down her legs, well waved tail. Her colour is extremely attractive having parches of very soft lilac & cream, with the white giving a pleasing balance between the three.  her condition was excellent, lovely to look at but a little jumpy & quite aggressive towards her neighbours."

 "A very elegant kitten who showed her self off well.  Medium sized body well muscled with long legs, small oval feet.  mounted on an elegant neck the head is a medium wedge of good length, flattened top of head.  dip in the profile, firm chin and an even bite.  Eyes of good shape and set.  large ears a fraction high the head.  Evenly covered to a good depth with fine soft hair.  Rexing very well developed over the whole body and down the legs and tail.  ran the winner close for the top prize. A real pleasure to handle, a very contented kitten."

 "Rather similar to her little sister - marginally smaller than her.  Well balanced. Top of skull still slightly domed, straight profile, round muzzle, level bite, slightly receding chin, well set ears of good with at the base.  Eyes of good shape, set & size.  slender neck, long muscular body, limbs 7 tail to balance.  short soft coat but lacks density in places, rexes were sufficient depth. Slight whisker pinch."

 "Pretty baby girl of good size and weight for almost five months and of very pleasing type.  Elegant, nicely balanced body is long slender and of very good substance, feeling firm and muscular with good underlying medium foreign boning; level back, gently rounded chest and standing tall on elegant well shaped slender legs ending in neat oval feet in proportion.  Head forms a medium wedge with high cheek-bones and breath to gently rounded muzzle with short curly whiskers.  large broad based ears are of good shape and held correctly high to give alert stance.  large lustrous eyes are shaped like a very rounded almonds and set wide and slightly obliquely.  I did consider whether her eyes were just a little too round, but when she relaxed her expression was much more typical.  in profile shows flat skull curving forward at brow, slight dip in line to nose, chin is just level and of fairly good depth.  fine short silky coat is dense and covers very well; hairs have good curl and form well defined, tight ripples along back, sides, flanks and hind-legs, good ripples on top of head, back of neck and across shoulders, slightly loose waves down forelegs, good ripples on chest, tummy is well covered with short curly fur, very loose waves along tail.  Tail tapers evenly to fine end and length just balances.  Alet. playful and very affectionate."

 "Sweet-tempered, elegant girl, with a medium wedge showing a slight teething pinch at present, in profile, she has a flat skull, curved brow, slight concave dip at the nose, level chin could be deeper, level bite.  Oval eyes medium in size, slightly slanting; good large ears set rather high.  Elegant neck, slender body of medium length; long straight legs & oval paws; long tapering tail.  Coat is a little soft in texture, rather than silken, but quite dense, with lovely ripples on her sides, fairly short and even in length."
